About Curious Nightingale
Curious Nightingale is a story-based learning studio where literature, objects, and puppetry come together to spark inquiry and the imagination. Rooted in the belief that stories are how we understand ourselves and our communities, the studio designs experiences that blend stories, archival objects, and puppetry into rich, multimodal learning environments.
Our work begins with books : picture books, folktales, fairy tales, myths, and contemporary stories that offer emotional resonance and narrative structure. From this foundation, we weave in objects and artifacts, inviting learners to investigate clues, interpret evidence, and build meaning. Through puppetry, animation, and play, stories become embodied, atmospheric, and alive.
At the heart of the Studio is a commitment to gentle, story-centred pedagogy: learning that is spacious, emotionally attuned, and grounded in wonder. We design experiences that honour children’s voices, celebrate their creativity, and help them see themselves as makers, thinkers, and storytellers.
